Daily struggles of the mind
Death to my flesh, my flesh is my death
dragging, pulling into the dark depths
a downward spiral with no last steps
a spiritual warfare of the mind
never ceasing until the end of time
temptations hiding, lurking
evils in my ear always working
struggling within my heart, knowing what to do
but my actions always needing reproof
so my flesh is my death
I pray DEATH TO MY FLESH.
