Just a short poem on hardships
In a flash of black and white it came

through the dark and through the night, cold as ice with eyes like fire

ready to devour those it desires

the darkness its shelter though its weakness the light.

It stalks its prey during the night.

It thrives off your darkness yet runs from your light

it destroys, defeats, decays

strong though equally matched

for sunrise sunset.
