A birthday present for my husband.
Small movements linger,
pressing the small of my back;
Guiding and guarding the path.

A slight sweep across my cheek,
brushing behind my ear;
Holding and wanting more.

The perfect balance of gentle and strong,
moving across my skin;
Protecting, caressing, loving.

Wrapped up inside their power,
folding over my own;
Cradled, safe and adored.
