A sailboat race.
We were young and out of school for the summer. It was the best time ever. My parents had signed me up for sailing lessons and I was estatic. The previous summer they had signed me up for tennis lessons and we stood, bored as prisoners, watching the sailors having fun through the fence of the court.

This year was different, this year we were having fun. The first day started with a splash. We all lined up on the pier as the instructors prepared to test our swimming ability. Everyone had to pass the swim test to be able to sail the boats.
