A flash fiction piece about at cat and its owner.
I see a cat painting with its paws. Its owner muzzled it for fear that it would lick its paws, thus poisoning itself. Whenever the owner would muzzle the cat, he would attempt to comfort it with the words, "There. That wasn't so bad, was it?"The owner would arrange the painting supplies at night as he found the sound of his cat painting very therapeutic as he entered sleep.

Six nights the cat painted random strokes (most likely out of its inner desire to scratch all things rough, fluffy, or rigid).

Sunday morning found the owner dead with his cat stuck in his mouth.

In the corner stood a painting of a muzzled cat, caption reading: "That wasn't so bad, was it?."
