Part three of the series of poetry. Sequel of "The Biggest Joke" and "Black Hole Eyes."
Betrayal

You’re black hole eyes
Lied
Every day
Empty
Devoid of truth

I asked you-
Hurt you
With insinuations
I alone
Was the problem
Too selfish
Over-reacting
Jealous

Or perceptive

I did not see
Didn’t want to
I believed
Your plastic smile
Ivory teeth
Obsidian eyes
Were truth
Because If not
I didn’t know
anything
anymore.

You made me
A joke.
The biggest joke.

I wish I’d stop
Forgiving you.
Even when
I remember the
Pure deception
Your broken
Smile
Your black hole
Eyes
Haunt me still.

I cannot hate them
