this was my first peice of work just to clear my mind.
I walk around town all happy and bright,
From the corner of my eye I catch an unusual sight.
It's you standing there looking at me,
My mind starts to wander, who is it you see?

Is it a stranger just walking round town?
Or is it that person who deserves that frown?
Is it that stranger you know nothing about?
Or is it that menace, that thug, that lout?

Now my minds ticking, what is it you know?
Why do you stand there? Why don't you go?
Is there something about me that you can tell?
Is it my appearance, my mannerism, my smell?

Then another person starts to appear,
Running towards you, now it's all clear.
In my direction yes you were facing,
But at that other person whom now youe embracing.

Paranoia affects people in different ways,
It can happen during nights, it can happen during days.
One thing is clear that now I can see,
How I deal with it has to be best for me.
