This is based on a true story of loss
                          24 Hours

Twenty four hours, spent in your dressing gown
What will you do now? What will you do now?
Twenty four hours, spent walking back and forth
Will you speak? Will you talk to me now?

Your eyes are filled of lead, your skin, snow white
Just breathing, hardly alive, you look me in the eye
I just need him, I just need him, she says, yet again
I nod my head, trying to smile, like i haven't heard this line before

I love her, she's my mother but yet,
She is not even the shell of that woman
It's been more then twenty four hours ,since she left
More then twenty four, hours since I regret a word I've said

I'm looking at the zombie, holding onto me
Griping me with all she has, like I'm everything to her
like I'm enough to save her
She pretends, not to hear me, say
I can't save you, I can't take away the pain

It's been twenty four hours, spent in your dressing gown
What will you do now? What will you do now?
Twenty four hours, spent walking back and forth
