Written for an amazing high school boy who recently took his own life.
Your heart was split three ways to hell
the secrets you whispered to silent to tell
Your mind for mourning, nightmarish and true
your emotions intensified, not a soul knew.

The finale was broken, no rhythm or time
the rest of us waiting, just writing our rhyme.
Your personal thoughts always changing, unsure
the deepness you harbored, just couldn't endure.

The voices you listened with persuaded temptation
Your craft not a simple one, borne with creation
the absence of presence, stage impartial to death
yes we all died a little, gone, along with your breath.
