A loner had the opportunity to take on a challenge so as to accomplish a task.

Signs, signs, challenge, adventure,
A lot of signs, signs allover;

Give me the mental strength
And I will show the power.

I am taken for a ride
But fearful to be pushed aside;

I have never ridden a filly or a mare;
Saddle and straps are my preferred gear.

Now I try, enthusiasms increase
While the tensions decrease.

A feeling of adventure overwhelms me
Only to be thrown aside for others to see.

With shame and disgust and shaky fingers;
In my mind the unanswered question lingers.

Who is to blame and why fuss?
It’s my fault that I lose the trust.

Awake! Open your eyes
And seek the outlets;

Because a good attempt is better
Than a lifetime of regrets.
