After my wife left me prior to leaving for the Army, I wrote this while being in processed
the wieght of 1000 words holding down
the wind blowing, rain pouring, earth shaking
everything is different but you're the same
releasing this, you, us, starting over, remaking
forever and a day is over, who knew
that eternity was so short, that eternal love dies
cosmic forces couldn't save what was
moving on seems like going back, who was I?
before this, you, us, I'm finding me again
sewing up the wounds, you tear them open when you call,
I say it all, I receive no reply
how can I love someone I hate so much, disdain
I suppose I didn't hate you, I just hated your ways
