Thoughts on the human condition and inequality
Eccentricity clouded by establishment
The clock chimes
A man's worth measured in nickels and dimes
Originality and Creativity condemned by establishment
The pendulum swings past
Life moves fast

Reality blurred by distorted perception
Controlled by establishment decrees
Limitations not real only forced upon us by their inception
Bound by ideology
Never set free
Circumstances fraught with adversity
Conservatives conserving what money they own
The Poor Man forced into posterity
For the Poor Man's hard work no reward is shown
As the sun rises in the morn
A Child is born

Eccentricity clouded by establishment
The clock chimes
A man's worth measured in nickels and dimes
Originality and creativity condemned by Establishment
The pendulum swings past
Life moves much too fast

Wandering through a sea of clockwork gears
His VOICE stifled by others fears
Words fill his mind
Thoughts about those of the other kind
The ones who live secure and content
Atop pedestals of influence
No worries about utilities or rent
There's no struggle for those of affluence

Life continues the man loses faith
The Man loses faith in humanity
He only sees man kind's depravity
Evils perceived in hyperbole

Achievement defined by wealth and power
A man struggles to find reality
Even in his final hour
Struck by grievous infirmity
Failed in life due to infertility
The sun sets quicker than it ever did rise
Man is lonely in life as he is in demise
