A man in a space station looking out onto the world for the first time.
The earth seems to lumber from where I stand.
Slowly crawling through nothingness, in the apex of disband.
It’s tones of emerald and ultramarines coalesce in this sphere.
With pockets of vibrant whites dispersed, yet so near.
It seems timeless, yet to it, time is meaningless.
So close, yet distance is in the universe of stars it has not met.
Forever pardoned from restrain,
But gravity is not just for the parasites it hosts.
Constantly contrasting to desolation’s bane.
Yet seamless through space, another one of the cosmic ghosts.
It is the crack in the world of the canyons.
This is the giant in the land of titans.
