Longing feeling for him. distant but easily tasted love.
Little, dainty,
glass doll trapped.
As she laid up against the shelf,
gazing down,
at her long-distant love.

Little, fragile,
snowman in a dome.
house arrested,
from his Rapunzel.
Longing to reach,
to see her smile.
To see her be released,
from the dust bunnies of the shelf;
from herself and the dark.
