I wrote this when I was in love with someone and it was pissing me off.
NO connection
NO inside jokes
NO dumb, knowing smiles
NO brief moments of ignorance because it’s okay to suspend your attention and deal with          your own life
NO futile adjustments
NO look away look back look away
NO interest
NO concern
NO point

Wouldn’t the old me be proud
