A poem about a person's view on the madness of people who are different.
This is madness
Utter madness
How dare they think
They can be different from others

This is wrong
All wrong
How dare they not care
What society thinks

Don't they realize
How foolish they look
Acting so different
Being so different

This is...madness?
Being themselves
Sticks and stones
Won't break their souls

This is wrong
...all...wrong
They're outside the box
Across the line

Why are they not scared
Why do they not care
The way people look at them
The way people think of them!

Do they think it's okay
Do they think it's alright?
But...
Wait a second

They are so happy
So carefree and bright
Why?
It's not fair

I worry each day
I worry each night
"Will they accept me?"
"Do I look alright?"

No, this can't be right
I try so hard
But really I'm empty
How can this be?

Oh...i see
I'm the norm
I'm not different
I'm not me

It's good to be different
To be yourself
It's alright!
Huh?

But...
This is madness
Utter...madness...
Right?
