A poem about those teenagers who try really hard to be "deep" and "unique"
I think I'll try my hand at poetry.

I'll write my most intimate personal thoughts

and hope someone cares enough to

sympathize or read them.

I'll play the

angst driven

hormonal

teenager.

The one

trying too hard to sound

deep and

thoughtful.

Maybe you can play the caring friend?

The one by my side, telling me my work is unique and beautiful.

Just like me?

You're the friend, that's what your supposed to say.

So read up on those lines

and assume the role of friend.

The loyal one that's by my side.

The one that's used in every play.

Don't you see the irony in this

never ending

awful

terrifying

cliche?
