A romance poem.
Vaguely lit by the summer moon
Lull them asleep
With fair hair
Pours burning love
Beautiful as snow

That by starlight
Of black devils and black wolves
Droops her pale flowerlike cheek
Who dreams,
With a cloak of ignorance

And that he has seen
Entwine their thin arms
Whence he does come
Sighing around her
Through this horror of space

Lying in her long veils
In the shadowy glade where
Snow of rose petals
At times she rouses
Mount in my soul

But endless
I cared nothing for all
And distances from that time
Never endured more triumphant clamourings
Realized in antique dreams
Dawns are heartbreaking

I hung there.
