this was written around the timeall my friends left for college.
Seperate Destinations

The goodbyes are spoken and the masses disperse
to meet with their futures and make whole new friends
A long life spent finding a niche
Meeting the ones that accept and appreciate your presence
If we were in another situation or in another place
would the time we spent together mean the same?
The train of life keeps rolling never missing a beat
People will depart and strangers will take their seat
locations not so clearly printed on their boarding passes
these imminent moments the conductor has seen many times
this stop is yours but if is not mine
our desitinations are on seperate sides of the track
take one long breath and go in for one last kiss
but the doors slam shut and the train rolls on again.
