I wrote this for all those girls who think they need makeup to look pretty,
Eyeliner covers her eyes
So no one can see past
No one knows she’s falling down
No one thinks to ask

Lipstick smeared too much
A distraction from her skin
She tries so hard to be beautiful
By letting society win

Cover up applied in layers
Imperfections can’t be seen
Deep down we all know
That’s what make up means.
