just had to get it out. First draft. Needs alot of work.
The storm is here, it always is.

 

Dark rain pelting I fall to the ground

Thunder yelling words of failure



The rain seeps into my skin

Filling me up with self doubt



The thunder echoes in my head

Beating it’s message



Hard to see through the darkness of rain          

My image in the mirror, hideous

Things I do or say, dim-witted



Yet, I wait for the sun

I know it won’t come

But, I wait.
