Snorkeling in the Atlantic ocean on Inis Bofin, west coast of Ireland.
The North Beach

Wash me away on this stoney beach,
Take me to sea and under the surface
where oil painting sea weeds stand and sway,
Let me rest with the urchins in the deep green depths
where life emerges silently from shelfy caverns,
And wrass and bream circle their kelpy gardens,
where sprat congregate in underwater courtyards and parks,
and the eels loiter in anemone alleyways,
and the crabs shimmy by, sometimes freezing abruptly
and holding their oversized claws up to the heavens in self defence,
and flowery jellyfish drift and slide lazy and gentle as the tide.
