A sonnet about the moon
I see just navy in the sky today
It is still dark in the winter morning
Everyone else talks with nothing to say
But I look up and see the moon adorning

The brilliant white against a dark blue sky
The full white moon makes me stop to admire
How lovely nature is, nothing awry
The beauty of wind, the form of fire

When a thought oxidizes into words
When the synapses do their daily job
When the spring wind uplifts the songs of birds
Like sea waves, nature does so gently bob

One moment can make us stop and see
How you truly want our lives to be free
