Had a poem called "Divinity" I polished it. Still about my heroin addiction.
Had a word with Ethereal,
man ain’t she tough?
she plays hard to get,
I won’t give up yet.

Her presence is ineffable,
Her definition is peace
Her form is beautiful,
Something broadly unique.

With her you’ll experience,
unbelievable peace.
She’s infinitely interesting,
but impossible to reach.

But something so great
causes so much grief
Ethereal is evil,
the poster child for deceit.

I’ll hand it to her though,
she’s a mass manipulator,
you’ll do what she wants
she’ll tear your sanity apart.

I sink into great uncertainty,
and Ethereal doesn’t catch me.
Her lack of sympathy is a talent,
she won’t show me any mercy.

All reality is lost,
Ethereal won’t comfort me anymore,
She just laughs,
Her taunting is easy to ignore.

The damage is unimaginable,
All I want is freedom,
But Ethereal is a drug,
All I want is more.

She promises me satisfaction,
I only feel pain,
But I’m still infatuated,
Without her, there’s no peace in my brain.

Ethereal strikes my veins,
She runs through my blood, straight to my brain
My vision soon begins to fade,
Ethereal takes over again.

The pain is gone, but only temporarily
Ethereal comes and goes,
But her presence stains me.
I’m a slave to her, nothing else matters.

Her sense of humor is grotesque
She knows what she does to me,
Her sickness plagues me,
I set out to find her again.

She graces me with her presence,
the only thing I’ve ever wanted.
No one is important no more,
Ethereal only matters.

She wrecks like a tornado,
She destroyed my life,
I want her to leave me alone,
but my body doesn’t permit it.

My life feels hopeless without her,
my existence is fruitless,
Ethereal, why did you plague me?
Please just disappear.
