A description about coupled love and its effects, the presence and absence of it.
On world of water around me,
I see couples drown in it,
But that water only wets me.
As i stay afloat.

Flowers bloom in it,
Streams flows with it.
The sun is never around.
Lonely souls move uptown.

For every couple that drown,
I look on with mixed feelings.
I feel the warmth,
Yet the cold beats me.

Fiction is strange,
But facts are stronger.
Hand is meant to hold,
But not only another hand.

I look back and see,
Few that drowned, have surfaced.
With worried lines and scars,
Marked on their minds and hearts.

Glanced at many,
Who take to the sky.
After seeing companions,
Drowining with another.

I turn back forward,
Keeping sights in mind.
Questioning the self,
Answers i seek, i will find.

Eying the horizon,
Towards supposed sunrise.
Clouds that now part,
Giving way to the ardour of my life.

The Sun has risen,
Bright and warm i feel.
As clear as the purpose of glass,
At its presence, i kneel.

Perpective can change,
So do feelings.
Water is not life,
But air is for breathing.
