A man,I love,that is dying
As time passes,

I sit by his side,

Trying to hide all my tears,

As he lies there,

For fear he may pass in his sleep,

He whispers to me,"I want my last breath to be said to you."

As I look at him I see the tears in his eyes,

I have no words to what he said,

I kiss his sweet lips in fear that this is my last night with him,

He grabs my hand with the strength he has,

And says,"I love you until my heart stops beating."

I try to stop my tears for I don't want it to be the last thing he sees,

As I look over at him when I wipe my tears away,

I feel his hand falling out of mine,

Before I have the chance to say to him one more time that I love him,

He is gone,

I know now that life will move on,

But for now,

He is an angel watching over me.
