For a contest: a poem about a broken heart.
Glass-
Shatters on the floor,
My darling, what for?
But you break it like glass,
So fragile, it won't last.
It should have been rubber,
To withstand scorn of lovers.
But alas it has torn,
Grows so old and worn,
Like a faded picturesque art,
You have broken my heart.
