They call him lovely
Seconds pass by and I still love you
I feel your chest rise up and down. Your heart beets evenly.
If only these sugar sweet seconds could last a little longer.

Minutes pass by and I still love you
Your soft lips speak words that could slow my heart.
They float around my head like white doves, only the
words of God could ring louder.

Hours pass by and I still love you
Holding the phone to my ear, I talk quietly; the threat of
someone hearing me lingers in the back of my heart, but
it holds no strength against the sound of your laugh. This
time makes everything worth it.

Days pass by and I still love you.
I count down the days until I see you next. I know I need
you.

Weeks pass by and I still love you.
Papers pool beneath my nose as my concentration fades
away from the work that needs to be done and onto better
things...

Months pass by and I still love you
Smiles expectingly flash across my face as I
choke down laughter when I remember moments when
we were having fun.

Years pass by and I'll aways love you
"Forever". The word that will always bounce back and fourth
between our lips.  Neither of us can quite comprehend how wonderful
it's definition really is.
