Before the storm comes the calm.
Trust comes to those who mean to gain it

Trapping me inside your lies

Is that your way of going about it?

I try to read you with just my eyes

Looking into the mirror, I see two views

One who’s enduring too much pride and

One who’s too thru

Let’s play the blame game

Go ahead and tell me

Put it all on me

And we’ll see how this goes

I love you

I miss you

I want you

Wait ! Not those

Blame me for how I changed you

How I introduced you to real

How I had you thinking about me

All day

Everyday

And that wasn't even the deal

But then the storm hit

You switched up the game

Soon enough I found myself

Reliving square one

Asking was I to blame

You had your fears

You let em go

You let it all show

But in the end, was I too much?

Did we take it too slow,

Or maybe too fast?

It’s weird how an “us”

Is now what I call my past.
