A blind man views the world,
Based upon what he's been told,
Never will he know the beauty,
Of a summer day's sunset,
He will never see the ocean,
After a storm of great proportions,
But there is hope for this man,
Through the eyes of his heart,
He can see love,
In its purest form,
Not the skin deep lust,
That society has become accustomed,
He can feel the gentle touch,
Of a loving hand across his body,
The soft warmth of being in ones arms,
And the affectionate kiss,
To not just his lips,
But his ever-longing soul,
He can hear the words,
His ear whispered to,
With more meaning than life,
I love you
