Lyrics to a song I wrote about a deteriorating relationship.
Wasting my time,
On a Saturday evening,
I can't help the feeling,
The ceiling's full of tears.

I'm waiting on you,
The show is over.
On the phone, we talk over,
The things we did today.

But there goes the traffic lights,
Telling everybody to take it alright,
I hope you're doing fine.

'Cos I'm here alone,
I'm waiting on you,
Taking your calls,
And its the same thing,
Over and over again.

Writing our life,
On a piece of paper,
How we'd be together,
The rest of our lives.

We'll sleep soundly,
By each other's side,
Dreaming of a light,
That never goes out.

But there goes the street lights,
Telling somebody to take it alright.
I hope you're doing fine.

'Cos I'm here alone,
I'm waiting on you,
Taking your blames,
And its the same thing,
Over and over again,

I wish we stayed the same,
I wish we stayed the same,
as before.
