Alphabet in sequence. Life, love, hatred, confusion, it's all here. Rhymes too.
All is dark besides that crack contrition’s cruel hand will not cover.
Beguiling, those shadows are, whispering twisted sweet nothings like a lover.

Coaxing my demons from a hellish abyss,
Dying for another fix of their brief intoxicating kiss.

Elusive and swift are those smiling thieves of essence,
Forgotten memories call, bearing hearts accepted with acquiescence.

Grasping at the sunlight, asking, “Has this not been time enough?”
“Has Fate’s deal turned your heart cold, skin so tough?”

Illusionary master in the art of letting go,
Joining the ravens in flight, six feet below.

Knives drag simultaneously across faded scars,
Loving every minute, but denying what you are.

Meaning of why the medium was grasped lost in the mural of expectations.
Now, however, is long past the time for revelations.

Opting for a heroic sacrifice in the battle of no avail,
Pity no one will survive to share the tale.

Quick breaths, with desperate lips you tug,
Reveling as you drown in your temporary drug.

Ships lost among the merciless Atlantic,
The irony, the agony, it’s all righteously satanic.

Underneath your practiced exterior, waging an inner war,
Vacuity of the liquid heart or an incessant downpour.

Woe’s secret denying the actor his role,
Xs of blind hope mark your soul.

Yesterday was never so far from retribution,
Zenith of the century murders any resolution.

Alternate "P" line:Playing the cards, trying to buy a drifting notion of abstract no dealer will sell.
Still can't decide which I like better. Advice would be helpful.
