Yesterday I took a walk. On this walk I was surrounded

By darkness, for the moon was smothered and not able to guide me.

Lights from approaching houses bore unto me though i

Shied away, not wanting my presence known. The appearance of

Headlights seared through me, mocked me, making me regret.

I sank, bellowed, and cried, yet still my feet carried me forward. Pain and

Regret hurt, yet make me long for life and hope. Yesterday

I took a walk. On this walk I was surrounded by darkness...
