Something I wrote about a dream I had
The air smells of firewood
The sounds permeate the night
Crickets singing
Leaves in the trees as the wind plays music through them
I breathe in and out
A smile covers my face

I reach out and grab her hand
She smiles gently at me
Her brown eyes light me up

As we enjoy dinner
And laugh about what's ahead for us
I think to myself
This moment could never end

I stare out the porch at the lake
The waves calm my soul
I think to myself
This moment could never end

The fireflies share their joy with us
Nature in all of it's pureness
I think to myself
This love will never end
