Getting away from it all
Have you ever been in one?
The little girl asked.
They take you away,
- Far away, at last.

Like soaring birds that float
Way high in the sky,
You can sit and look down
While waving goodbye.

You feel invincible,
This bubble won’t pop.
Higher and higher you fly,
Up and up you go nonstop.

Like all things though,
The ride must come to an end.
You step out sadly,
Knowing you must leave your new friend.

The sky overhead,
Is now bright pink.
You watch bitter sweetly,
As the sun starts to sink.

You'll always remember,
You've got to come back soon.
So you can take another ride,
In the hot air balloon.
