How do you let a sister go?
We played in puddles that we made
with a garden snake
Right next to the fire, tho we were never burned
and as I hold you here
I can almost taste
the love and admiration I once had for you.

But my hands have finally outgrown yours
as your face has outgrown its mask.

The ultimate doctor has not held up
his end of the bargin
I bleed silently as I hold you here
showing me that it is time
to let you go.
