My last girlfriend broke up with me today... she said she hadn't actually loved me before.
You held me in your arms
And said we’d never part,
From the beginning I felt alarms…
Yet I followed my poor heart

You said we would be wed,
Live a life, just you and I
That’s all what you had said
That’s why I have to cry.

Yeah, I was your fool
Willing to the end
You regret I was a tool
But that’s just the circle’s bend

You said it hurt to part,
But is that your true conscience?
I gave you my whole heart,
You were my life’s influence.

I loved you with each breath
Felt I found the one I’m meant,
But I misjudged the crevice’s breadth
So now it’s heaven sent

I kissed you on the lips,
I thought you kissed me too,
But now you’ve got the tips:
You never loved this tool.

You held me in your arms
And said we’d never part,
I ignored all the alarms
And now I will cloister my fool heart.
