And the year passes,
Silent as snow,
Swift as wind,
And the year passes
Children will laugh,
Children will cry,
There will be life,
But also death
As the year passes

Leaves will,
Seasons will change,
Flowers will grow,
As it rains,
As sun shines,
As sleet falls from the sky,
And As The Year Passes
