Short tale of a mans plagued life
STARS

I gaze up at the stars very often, they shine so brightly and their purpose is over looked.
I wish I could be with them,so high up,away from this world and my own limits.I want to watch
everything from far above with no cares.Day after day I feel them looking down on me,they know I don't like
them staring,I want them to stop. Each twinkle is like a laugh from their lighting glow, this I know.

I marveled at them,so many yet so far,so busy yet no hardship came from their eyes.
"How do you do it,I asked,Can I ever be with you?" It seems they were starting to understand me,
they could never know my days. "You are beyond me"! I proclaimed,"Please, can you understand what no one else can"?
It seemed like they didn't care, just carrying on with what they do best, looking down on the world with no rest.

It saddened me greatly as I bite and grit, onward through every sorrowful day. They weren't there for me! I hate them
looking down on me with empty pity! So I turned away from them to sleep forever more,no more looking upon them, they are lost
to me.

My days olden-ed,my spirits sunk so low,I couldn't remember my friends. For it had been so long, lost in time.
Life went on without them, yet I didn't seem to notice. The dark came though,as it always did. Holding me so relentlessly, crushing me to death.
As I layed on my bed,i peared out the window, one last time. I saw them again and beheld their faces. They twinkled and shined destroying the dark
around me,one last time. They looked at me differently now,I looked back with new eyes. "You never left me,you were always there." "Thank you my
friends,for never falling into despair."

I closed my eyes and heard their voice saying, "Come be with us,you are ours and we are yours, forever more."
