this poem was written out of fear, and anxiety.
As I sit in class, knowing that you are behind me.
I fear of turning around.
I am scared to look at you.
I am scared to make a sound.
I spend my days thinking about you.
I am scared to look at your eyes.
But your just one of the guys.
I want your eyes to tell me that you can look past your friends.
I am scared they will say, I am gross and I disgust you.
I want them to tell me, that you can get to know me.
I am scared that they will say, you can never talk to me again.
I want them to tell me, that your friends don't matter, that you like me too.
I am scared they will say, I am a creeper, and that you don't know anything about me and don't want to.
So I turn around and see you staring at me.
Your eyes, they say something.
They say...Nothing.
You are blank,
I cannot read you like I can others.
