A poem not just about a rose...
A Rose so sweet
With delicate petals
Of velvet
Grown on a bush
So sharp with thorns
Deadly Sweet
As I grasp the stem
blood trickles down my hand
But the aroma
floats so gently into the
Sweetened air like sugar
So sweet
But thorns impale
So easily
But, as all life continues its cycle
and everything dies
The rose I hold is eternal
And it is all mine
