When we learned about the tsunami in Japan on March 11, 2010.
Tsunami

Im sitting in history class
as the world collapses around me.
The school walls start crumbling,
the windows shatter,
my teacher gives a horrified look
because even he is as
helpless as we are.
Im sitting in history class
and the water leaks under the door
and wets our feet,
but thats nothing compared to
the wave that's crashing.
