A warning to all flocks who are too easily led.
In days of great philosophy
Debate exposed false sophistry
Where trust was in mythology
That promised Godly equity
When death became reality.

And reasoned men could once again
Speak truth to power without pain
From despots who became insane
Co-opting God for their domain
Of lechery so vile...so vain.

What moral compass spoke the word
To pedophiles in robes absurd
That swore it was the Christ they heard
Who blessed the pot of sin they stirred
While rape of children long endured.

Oh Ye who gather with the crowd
Beware of them who shout too loud:
"Believe that we are God endowed;
Divine He made us pure and proud"
Let not their boasts become your shroud.
