This is about someone I love who is addicted to drugs
I never tasted it

But one kiss could get me gone

I am sure that’s what it tastes like

Burnt maple leaves falling on my tongue

When I pull away

My eyes drink in the color red

And suddenly I’m not here

I am floating above everyone

But you’re with me

You’re always a little higher

But I am always right underneath you

This must be what it feels like

Just as deadly, just as sad when it’s over

So why should I get mad?

I’m off balance now

You’ll hold on to me

So why should I get mad?

Everything is coming out incoherent

We are the same

So why should I get mad?

And if we both smell like death

Why should I get mad?

I am just as high as you now

I’m just as high as you

I’m just as high as

I’m just as high

I’m just as

I’m just

I’m…
