My newest poem about Wings; any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Wings

One day she’ll realize,
One day she’ll fly away,
One day she’ll spread her wings and fly out into the rain.

She’ll soar though the storm willingly,
Since that’s how we taught her to be,
Through the rain and snow and sleet,
Past the fear and hate she’ll defeat,
She’ll glide through it all and break through the clouds,
And come to the valley of peace,
Where everyone’s happy and the Sun always shines,
Where she’ll give her wings a rest and have each feather cleaned and dried.

And then they’ll turn to angel’s wings and up and up she’ll fly,
Where she’ll hover among the downy clouds and stay with us there in the sky,
To watch the other ones with wings who make their journey here,
One day she’ll fly through this all,
One day she’ll learn how to use her wings,
One day, she’ll learn how to fly.
