Something I wrote two years ago. Not the best. The meaning is open to interpretation.
Cold Steel

Forgotten memories left behind
Answers on a quest to find
Truths lost in the sands of time
Like ancient words, line by line

Cold as a winter’s night
Solid as steel can be
I reach out
And feel thee

Like a warrior’s blade
That lost its power
Cold and dry
Like a wilted flower

The Little bunny white as snow
Hiding away inside its cave
Scared, the animal runs away
To escape the dangers of today

Hollow as a broken sky
Incompleteness everywhere
For if it’s not over
There will be an answer
