I stand at my rightful place on the outside of the glass

Looking in

I see the way the people love

The way they live

How they exist



A dying flower in a garden

Something we pretend isn’t there

…Yeah, that’s me

Banished to the outside of the glass

Looking in



Does anyone care I’m alone out here?

I’m sinking

Drowning

In the river of my poisoned soul

Does anyone see I’m alone out here?

Does anyone hear my cries?
