Same as the first.
Your eyes
It seemed at first
an amber enchantment.
Now I see they are hollow and
empty;Your lips were like petals from
my last song; Now I see they are
moistened then chapped from pairs
not belonging to me.
You had
sincerity,
made me believe that a
world can be genuinely good,
a heart can be kind without ones own gain.
Now I see your true intentions
were delayed;Although you
have overcome
me once,
I am under
you no more; I am now
impervious to your charms, your
use of tongue will not sway me,overtake
me,leaving me in despair for
lust;life is not only lust as you say.
Life is not only love as they
say;Now i see the world
is of many
And you-
You're another
pebble in the gravel
In which I walk on and crush bare
with a heal of dignity and pure truth.
