The end is not always the end.(Winner of: a Poem A Day Contest))
I fall onto my knees and then onto my face,
body still, my heart loses pace.
I have no sight, but I can finally see,
no limbs to move, but I am set free.
I have no tongue, ears, or nose,
but I can smell music and taste prose.

The world falls away,
along with my fears.
Salvation comes today,
He wipes away my tears.

When my body died today,
my soul was released above.
Not because of my works or ways,
but because of His unconditional Love.
