This is dedicated to my father, who had a heart attack when I was about 8 years old.
Dad, what happened?

You were healthy before

You were thriving before

Now your in the hospital

Dad, don't tell me you might not make it.

Don't tell me it might be the end

Momma's crying,

I'm crying,

Dad, if the doctor can't help,

If your guardian angel can't help,

I love you too

And I will never let you die.

Dad, Momma loves you

I hope you know

You have people who need you

Pull through,

Please, pull through.

Dad, I love you

This won't change that

You may not like what I tend to do,

You may not like things I do

But I still love you

Dad, you can make it

You can pull through

Stop saying it might not work

You are strong,

You are amazing

Oh please,

Don't say you won't live.

Daddy, don't die

We all need you,

How will I stay strong?

Please, Daddy,

Stay strong,

For Momma,

For the younger ones,

For me.

Daddy, don't die.
